Terms and Conditions

1. Operator

These terms govern the purchase of software licenses (digital content) via the eventapps.online e-shop under Czech Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, including its provisions on consumer contracts and the supply of digital content, and Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection.

2. Products

We sell licenses to our software (e.g. PPTX Checker) — digital content delivered online, with no physical medium and no subscription: licenses are one-off (perpetual unless stated otherwise), one license = one device, and additional devices can be purchased later. Most apps offer a free 30-day trial so you can fully test them before buying.

3. Account and ordering

Purchase requires a user account with true and accurate details. The order button explicitly indicates an obligation to pay; the contract is concluded upon placing the order and confirmed on screen and by e-mail. Orders are archived in your account. The contract may be concluded in Czech or English; the Czech version of these terms prevails.

4. Prices and payment

Prices shown are final (the operator is not a VAT payer) and payable within 14 days. Payment methods: (a) bank transfer incl. QR payment — delivery upon receipt of funds; (b) card, Google Pay or Apple Pay via the secure GoPay gateway (where offered) — delivery immediately after payment confirmation. The invoice is available in your account.

5. Delivery of digital content

The license key is made available without undue delay after payment, by e-mail and in your account. The content is delivered the moment the key is made available. Activation requires an internet connection; the license binds to a device and can be deactivated in your account and moved to another device.

6. License

Payment grants a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide license for the agreed number of devices. You may not copy beyond installation, modify, reverse engineer, rent or sublicense the software. Transfer to a third party requires the operator's prior consent. Updates necessary to keep the content free of defects are provided for the period you may reasonably expect; the app notifies you of available updates.

7. Withdrawal

Consumers may withdraw within 14 days of concluding the contract by e-mail to info@eventapps.online (a model form is available in the Czech version above). Refunds are made within 14 days by the same payment method. Note: when ordering, the consumer expressly consents to delivery of the digital content before the withdrawal period expires and acknowledges that the right of withdrawal ceases once the license key is made available. Unpaid orders can be cancelled at any time.

8. Defects and complaints

The operator is liable for the content conforming to its description and being fit for its usual purpose, including agreed updates. Defects may be notified within two years of delivery to info@eventapps.online (state your order number or license key). You may request a remedy; if a defect cannot be remedied in reasonable time, you may request a reasonable discount or withdraw from the contract (not for insignificant defects). Complaints are resolved within 30 days at the latest.

9. Dispute resolution

Consumer disputes may be resolved out of court by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (www.coi.cz, ADR platform adr.coi.cz), within 1 year of first raising the claim with the operator.

10. Personal data

The operator is the data controller. Data (e-mail, name, billing and license data) are processed as necessary for the contract, account, invoicing and legal duties, for the statutory period. You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and to lodge a complaint with the Czech DPA (uoou.gov.cz). No third-party tracking cookies are used.

11. Final provisions

Czech law applies, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your habitual residence. Consumer provisions do not apply to business customers. The operator may amend these terms; the version effective at the time of ordering applies. Effective 3 July 2026.
